Knowledge & Experience: Requires 1 to 2 years as an inspector, supplier source auditor, or new product test technician in Quality Assurance/Control Department. A.A.S. degree in a quality-related discipline is preferred. The appropriate combination of education and work experience will be considered.. Must possess intermediate level computer skills in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel & Outlook ) Smartsheet experience a plus. Must exhibit strong attention to detail. Must possess mathematical aptitude and the ability to work with mathematical concepts such as statistical process control and statistical inference, applying fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. The candidate for this position must be able to work independently, is proactive and organized in their daily responsibilities, is team-oriented, and works productively and collaboratively across multiple departments and functions. Ability to use and interpret adjustable measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and scales.

Essential Functions | Accountabilities | Performance Measures
- Conduct quality inspections using proper equipment/tools and standardized practices.
- Conduct statistical analysis on select processes and report findings.
- Document and communicate with the Lead and QA Manager any rejection or QAHOLDs that occurs as a result of an in-process and/or incoming product that fails to meet Quality Specifications
- Remain current on quality initiative programs, equipment and testing standards.
- Maintain accurate documentation of quality inspection results.
- Ensure incoming materials comply with established specifications.
- Performs internal process and facility audits to comply with CFS and NSF Standards
- Manage and assist with problem solving with root cause analyses and document corrective actions for all product deviations that fall under a minor defect category, which do not violate form, fit, or function.
- Ensure that all tools, equipment, and devices that require calibration are done according to schedule.
- Perform the appropriate level of dimensional evaluation (PPAP) on all components or final assemblies that are produced by new or modified tooling/molds.
- Log, seek approval, and publish PPAPs for all applicable products by PSW number to be archived in the Engineering Shared file location.
- Participate in shrink studies.
- Make a minimum of 5 safety observations per week.
- Regular and punctual attendance, consistently adhere to the assigned work schedule
- Comply with all GMP requirements and adhere to all CFS safety policies and procedures
- Other duties as assigned.
- Inspect new products and changes to existing products and conducts tests to assure compliance to requirements.
- Dimensions parts for compliance to blueprints and monitors, inspects and audits production parts and assemblies as required.
- Inspects stocks as related to customer complaints. Identifies problems related to products, conducts and documents testing results as specified by the Quality Assurance Engineer to ensure specifications and requirements can be met.
- Documents and communicates with supply chain, production and management on in-process and/ or incoming rejections for corrective actions of return productor unacceptable parts and products.
- Works with Quality Assurance Engineer on new product testing or changes to existing product evaluations,
- Verify all test request and status are current in smart sheet.
- Conducts life cycle and performance tests on components parts and assemblies.
- Coordinates incoming documentation for returned goods due to customer complaints as required. Audits returned parts and recommends disposition based on specifications. Escalates all rejections to Quality Manager.
