Essential Functions | Accountabilities | Performance Measures
- Supervise daily quality control and assurance activities across all shifts, ensuring adherence to NSF certification requirements and customer specifications.
- Lead the facility’s NSF International program, including audits, documentation, corrective action planning, and auditor interactions.
- Monitor and maintain quality systems, procedures, and documentation for materials, products, and components. (e.g., ISO 9001, NSF audits, PPAP, control plans, FMEA, and SPC).
- Conduct root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA) for non-conformances, customer complaints, and internal defects.
- Perform audits (internal, supplier, and product) and support external regulatory and customer audits.
- Train and coach quality inspectors and production team members on quality standards, best practices, and company policies.
- Maintain calibration records, inspection tools, and lab equipment to ensure reliability and compliance.
- Collaborate with engineering, production, and supply chain teams to ensure consistent product quality and continuous improvement.
- Analyze data and generate reports on quality performance metrics (e.g., scrap rates, first-pass yield, customer returns).
- Develop, implement, and maintain inspection, testing, and evaluation standards and methods.
- Keep leadership informed of significant quality issues, trends, and corrective actions.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
