The Role
The Client Service Associate will help us deliver excellent service to clients. You will support team advisors in financial planning, investment management, and delivering outstanding client service. The role requires someone who has fantastic communication skills and likes talking to clients, a desire to learn about and grow in the financial services industry, and a passion for personal development. This is not a sales role. This position allows the Associate to gain valuable experience in wealth management, develop their communication and analytical skills, and progress toward more client interaction and responsibilities. This role requires frequent communication with the Compliance Partner, Broker Dealer, Colleagues and our clients, The ideal candidate will be positive, organized, detail-oriented, motivated and have the ability to change course quickly.
Responsibilities:
- Work with clients and colleagues to ensure proper account opening procedures and documentation
- Schedule and prepare for client meetings; enter and maintain client data in financial planning and portfolio analysis software, prepare reports and other deliverables
- Maintain thorough notes from client meetings; manage projects related to financial planning, investment policy statements, and other deliverables
- Assist with day-to-day client service requests; proactively resolve clients’ issues and concerns
- Administrative duties such as handling telephones, mailing, filing and processing forms
- Comply with all industry rules, regulations and firm policies
Experience
- Proven experience in customer service or client-facing roles, preferably within the financial services sector.
- Familiarity with project management principles and practices is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
- Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems, particularly RedTail, is a plus.
- Ability to analyze data effectively to inform decision-making processes.
- A collaborative mindset with a focus on teamwork and achieving shared goals in a fast-paced environment.
- Skilled at planning, organizing, prioritizing and executing simultaneous projects and activities; proven ability to work under pressure and adapt quickly to change
- Strong computer skills; ability to quickly learn new software
