Cummins Technician

Overview
We are seeking a skilled Technician to join our dynamic team in a diesel repair facility. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in diesel industry and be adept at using various technical tools and equipment. This role requires an analytical mindset to troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively .

Duties

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on trucks equipped with the cummins diesel engine to ensure optimal performance.
• Operate and interpret readings from tools such as ohmmeters and ammeters for electrical diagnostics.
• Adequate knowledge in emissions systems, their operations and repairs to them.
• Ability to scan read and understand CEL codes and diagnose the issue and make a recommendation on repairs needed to resolve customers issue.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in cummins diesel repair.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to diagnose problems effectively.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• A commitment to safety protocols and best practices within the workplace.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.00 per week
