Overview
We are seeking a skilled Technician to join our dynamic team in a diesel repair facility. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in diesel industry and be adept at using various technical tools and equipment. This role requires an analytical mindset to troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively .
Duties
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on trucks equipped with the Duramax diesel engine to ensure optimal performance.
- Operate and interpret readings from tools such as ohmmeters and following diag procedures for electrical diagnostics.
- Adequate knowledge in emissions systems, their operations and repairs to them.
- Ability to scan read and understand CEL codes, program and diagnose the issue and make a recommendation on repairs needed to resolve customers issue.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in duramax diesel repair.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics, and technical manuals.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to diagnose problems effectively.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- A commitment to safety protocols and best practices within the workplace.
