Job Description:
As a Technology Install Lead Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a seamless and positive experience for our customers from the beginning to end of the installation phase. You will actively assist the Technology Project Manager in all aspects of Technology Installations from design to implementation. As the Technology Installation department builds up, you will be part of the training and supervision of Technology Installation Technicians. This position will provide the opportunity for leadership growth and improve your technical and managerial skills in the low voltage industry.
Responsibilities:
· Provide installation of access control, parking guidance, IP network, and video security surveillance systems. · Uphold Company Values and Standards and present a professional image both in personal and vehicle appearance, in accordance with company policies. · Perform work assignments in a safe manner and within specified cost limits. · Supervise and provide guidance to your installation crew to perform all necessary tasks of the customer's requirements and preferences, while fostering a positive collaborative team environment. · Maintain company property and documentation in accordance with established policies; handle proprietary information in the prescribed manner; adhere to and supports C G Systems, LLC policies and procedures including all safety requirements. · Set expectations and keep the customer informed about the installation process if necessary.
Minimum Qualifications:
· 2 years’ experience installing, integrating, testing, and troubleshooting low voltage wiring and electrical components and systems being used for Access Control, IP Networking and Video Surveillance · Knowledge of electronic mechanics (relays, power, open/close loops, and AC/DC theory) and a strong foundation in construction concepts (cabling, terminating, mounting, and installing camera systems, switches, routers, etc.) · IT, Parking Guidance, and Firm Alarm experience a plus · Ability to adapt to changes in project scope or unexpected challenges and provide quick problemsolving skills to address issues during installation · Able to use and understand digital volt meters · Technical / Trade school certificate is a plus but not required · Working knowledge of networking (subnetting, router configuration, LAN set-up, etc.) · Must have and be able to maintain a valid driver’s license, without restrictions and clean driving record · Must be willing to participate and pass the company's pre-employment screening process including a background investigation and drug screening · High School Diploma or GED
Salary / Hourly potential: $28 – 38.00
