ERP Federal Financial Management Analyst - U.S. Citizenship Required

Position Description:

We are seeking an experienced ERP Federal Financial Management Analyst with expertise in federal financial management domain areas to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of federal financial processes and regulations, and will play a key role in analyzing, documenting, and improving financial management systems and practices.

This position is located in our Fairfax, VA office; however, a hybrid working model is acceptable. You will be required to be in our Fairfax, VA office two days per week.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Analyze and document business processes and requirements related to federal financial management, ensuring alignment with regulatory standards and best practices
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, validate, and prioritize requirements for financial management systems and processes
Develop functional specifications, process documentation, and business cases to support system enhancements and process improvements
Conduct gap analysis to identify areas for improvement and recommend solutions to optimize financial management practices
Assist in the configuration, testing, and deployment of financial management systems, ensuring compliance with federal regulations
Provide training and support to end-users, facilitating effective adoption of financial management systems and processes
Ensure compliance with the Federal Financial Management Improvement Act (FFMIA) and other relevant regulations
Participate in project planning and execution, contributing to successful project delivery and stakeholder satisfaction

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

Due to the nature of the government contract requirements and/or clearance requirements, US citizenship is required as well as successful passing of CGI background check prior to beginning work. In addition, candidates must have ability to obtain and maintain a DHS/CISA EOD/Public Trust clearance.
Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Information Systems or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a business analyst in federal financial management, preferably within the government or public sector
Knowledge of government cash flows, disbursements, and collections, including familiarity with Treasury regulations Treasury Financial Manual (TFM), Treasury posting models, OMB guidance, A-11
Working level knowledge of and practical experience in federal financial management/related systems and/or programs such as: GTAS, CAR, TROR, Treasury Offset Program, Sam.gov, Pay.gov
Strong understanding of federal financial management processes, regulations, and standards
Experience with ERP systems implementation, particularly in financial management modules
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical and financial information to diverse stakeholders
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues and recommend solutions

Desired qualifications/non-essential skills required:
Experience in project management, including planning, execution, and monitoring of project activities
Certified Government Financial Manager (CGFM) or similar certification
Experience in SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $88,200.00 - $190,900.00.
