Mid-level AWS Full Stack Programmer

Position Description:

CGI has an immediate need for a Mid-level AWS Full Stack Programmer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced team environment supporting one of the largest leaders in the secondary mortgage industry. This position is located at a client site in Reston, VA or Plano, VA. A hybrid working model is acceptable.

Project Pitch:
Looking for Mid-level AWS Full Stack Programmer

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Leads development efforts to assess and document current and target state high level existing processes and functional needs across the enterprise. Work with the customers and other enterprise developers to formulate policies and plans that support the enterprise goals, implement efficient end to end processes and leverage use of existing IT assets. Align strategic goals and objectives with key business and IT initiatives. Work to develop an integrated view of the enterprise using a repeatable approach, cohesive framework, industry standard techniques and best practices

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

Requires 8 years relevant experience

AWS Full Stack Developer - Java 11/17, Angular11, Microservices experience, Springboot, Hibernate

AWS development experience using Java, Node.js, Lambda/API Gateway services and scripting.

Experience with AWS code pipeline, AWS deployment automation, AWS Service Catalog.

Design, build, test, deploy and support deployment of tools in AWS.

Strong experience in AWS EC2, ESC, S3, Cloudformation

Solid understanding of Cloud Security Tools like IAM, Key Management Services, Cloudwatch, RDS, DDoS etc

Worked on NOSQL/DynamoDB, Oracle, RDS

Experience with Python - good to have.

Experiences in full life cycle application/system development

Experience developing in distributed application environments (Database, Transaction Management)

Experience writing conceptual and detailed design documents, and developing large scale enterprise applications following an Agile execution model

Experience with Application integrations (SOAP/REST Web Services, ESB, JMS, File/Data transfers, etc.)

Familiar with GIT repositories (Bit Bucket) and Agile Methodology/SCRUM/Kanban, UCD, Terraform, Docker/Container basics

Source Code Control/Feature Branching/CICD Pipeline Basics, Version Control


Education:
1. Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems or related field

To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $84,000.0 - $165,300.00
