CGI Federal is currently looking for an Sr. Information Systems Security Engineer with active TS / SCI clearance to support a large project for a federal government client. The Sr. Information Systems Security Engineer will have the opportunity to work in an agile environment, utilizing a variety of skills and languages in a fast-paced, cutting-edge setting where their input can enhance processes and team interactions.

This position will be based in the Washington DC area.

Your future duties and responsibilities :

Provides technical expertise for the development of program requirements relating to information technology, application analysis, software development, and systems integration.

Designs, plans, installs and supports network communications systems.

Provides specifications and detailed schematics for network architecture.

Provides specific detailed information for hardware and software selection, implementation techniques and tools for the most efficient solution to meet business needs, including present and future capacity requirements.

Conducts testing of network design.

Evaluates and reports on new communications technologies to enhance capabilities of the network.

Ensures the quality of the work produced maintains the highest standards.

Communicate and coordinate with the back office to ensure that customer requirements are properly captured

Participates in the development of the technical solution through the mandated processes

Required qualifications to be successful in this role :

Active TS / SCI clearance.

Bachelors degree in software development, or related discipline experience developing and maintaining technical documentation

Working with GRC tools such as Xacta / JCAM

Be familiar with NIST 800-53 Rev. 5

Hold at least one of the following security certifications. Example : Security , CGRC, CASP, CISSP

AWS / Azure

JIRA / CONFLUENCE

Agile Methodologies

Expertise on Information Security Principles, processes and guidelines

Able to obtain and maintain an Authority To Operate (ATO) for Information Systems.

Analyze logs using Splunk and AWS tools

Scanning tools such as Tenable Nessus

Able to work on multiple projects with various timelines, at times very short deadlines.

Minimum of 8 years' experience as a Senior-level IT professional

Please note that US Citizenship is required for this government contract position.

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and license and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $69,700.00 - $154,300.00.
