Performance Test Engineer

Position Description :

CGI is looking to hire a dynamic Performance Test Engineer with experience working in a bank / financial institution. This candidate will work closely with the business stakeholders to understand and design performance tests and execute them effectively. He / she should also be able to coordinate with offshore delivery organization along with global business and IT stakeholders.

Your future duties and responsibilities :

Recording-resolving / workarounds for recording issues.

Correlation(Reg Expressions, JSON queries), Parameterization

Working with Business Team getting NFRs, clear understanding on NFRs

Working with Crews in sharing the Reports, working thru Perf Issues- JIRA(any management tool)

Analyze, define, design and propose solutions to business problems using architectural patterns and policies

Work in team-oriented environment, providing performance related technical advice and expertise and guidance to key stakeholders on a broad range of technology architectural related projects.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role :

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent

Proficient and Excellent knowledge in LoadRunner OR Jmeter Scripting Skills..

Strong C / Java Programming skills in handling XMLs / JSONs inside the scripts

Experience in Load Design / Workload Modeling and different performance tests.

Experience in executing different performance tests and identify performance issues in early stages.

Knowledge on Functional Testing Tools - SoapUI / PostMan / SQL / Swagger

Experience in Version Control Management - GIT / any relevant tools.

Experience in OCP / Cloud Performance Testing and reporting tools like Kibana, Grafana.

Experience in Unix / Linux commands for Perf Management.

Dynatrace / AppDynamics and Integration load test scripts with Monitoring Tools

Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $78,400- $219,600.
