Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled General Trades Technician to join our team at CGL Facility Management, LLC. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing general maintenance and repair work on facilities and equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine preventative maintenance to ensure that machines operate smoothly and efficiently.
- Respond to service requests, including electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and carpentry tasks.
- Assist in emergency maintenance situations, such as sewage back-ups and water main breaks.
- Assemble, install, and repair wiring, electrical and electronic components, pipe systems, and plumbing.
- Operate plant equipment and building automation systems.
- Maintain equipment and tools, and perform all work in accordance with established safety procedures.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 1-3 years of experience in building repairs and maintenance or in the specific area of assignment preferred.
- General knowledge of electrical, HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, and general building maintenance.
- Ability to work outside in all weather conditions and perform physical work, including lifting weights of up to 50 pounds regularly and above 50 pounds occasionally.
- Must be a team player, have a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and reliable.
- Must be computer proficient and have a valid driver's license and insurance.
