What the People & Operations Associate will do:
The primary role of this position is to work closely with our People & Operations Manager, playing a vital role in supporting the daily operations of Human Resources and our administrative staff. This process includes but is not limited to the following activities:
· Facilitate the onboarding process for new employees, ensuring accurate preparation and input of documentation in the HRIS.
· Coordinate orientation sessions and onboarding tasks across relevant departments.
· Assist in the recruitment process by posting job opening, screening resumes and coordinating interviews.
· Maintain electronic personnel files and ensure confidentiality and integrity of human resources across multiple facets.
· Organize and help draft/edit human resources internal process.
· Handle and cross-train various administrative tasks such as mail, supply inventory data entry, reporting, and office up-keep.
· Serve as a liaison to vendors for insurance, annual renewals and compliance paperwork.
· Participate in employee engagement initiatives and internal communications.
· Provide general administrative support to the HR department.
· Perform other related duties as assigned.
What qualifications, experience and skills would make you the ideal candidate:
· Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration or related field.
· 2 years of experience in Human Resources support or administrative role.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, familiar with HR systems and tools, Salesforce a plus.
· Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines and handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
· High accuracy and attention to detail.
· Excellent organization, presentation and communication skills.
· Clear and professional written and verbal communication and problem-solving skills to address routine HR inquiries.
· Know and understand when to advance potential issues and seek guidance for more complex situations.
· Ability to work independently to successfully meet objectives, as well as working effectively with team members to collaborate on solutions to challenges.
