We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and oversee the day-to-day management of our high-end residential projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in home construction, exceptional organizational skills, and a passion for delivering superior craftsmanship while maintaining the highest standards of client satisfaction.

Job Summary:
As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for the successful execution of

custom home construction and renovation projects from inception to completion. You will lead project teams, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, all while maintaining effective communication with clients, architects, subcontractors, and internal team members. Your ability to manage complex schedules, handle client expectations, and ensure quality control will be crucial to your success in this role.

Key Responsibilities
Project Oversight:
Manage all aspects of custom home construction and renovation

projects, from pre-construction planning, including filing for and obtaining all permits necessary for projects, through final completion. Ensure that all projects are executed according to specifications, timelines, and budgets.

Client Communication:
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the

project. Provide regular updates, address concerns, and ensure that the client’s vision is consistently met.

Team Leadership:
Supervise and coordinate the work of subcontractors, vendors, and

internal team members. Foster a collaborative and positive work environment to ensure high-quality results and seamless project flow.

Budget & Schedule Management:
Develop, monitor, and mange project budgets and

critical path schedules. Track project progress, making adjustments as necessary to ensure that deadlines and financial targets are met.

Quality Control:
Conduct regular site visits to monitor construction quality, ensure that

work meets company standards, and confirm all safety protocols are followed. Review work completed by subcontractors to ensure adherence to the project specifications.

Contract Administration:
Review contracts, change orders, and purchase orders. Prepare

monthly invoices, and ensure all contractual obligations are met and that any changes in scope are documented and approved.

Problem Solving:
Address challenges and resolve issues as they arise during construction

with minimal disruption to the overall project timeline or budget.

Collaboration with Design & Estimating Teams:
Work closely with the design and estimating teams to enable seamless transitions from design to construction and to help adjust project scopes as needed. Order materials and finishes to comply with the scope established by the customer, design and estimating teams.

Final Inspections & Handover:
Oversee the final inspection process, coordinate with

clients for final walkthroughs, and ensure that all punch list items are completed before the project is handed over.

Qualifications

  • 5 years of experience in project management for high-end residential construction, preferably with high-end custom homes or luxury renovations
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and costs specific to custom residential construction
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate




effectively with clients, architects, subcontractors, and internal teams.


  • Proven ability to manage complex, high-budget projects and lead a team of




professionals.


  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills with a strong attention to detail
  • Knowledge of construction codes, permits, and building regulations in Northern




Michigan.


  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural plans, blueprints, and technical specifications
  • Experience with budgeting and cost control to maintain project profitability
  • A background in project management, architecture, or a related field is highly desirable

Salary : $85,000 - $110,000
