Position Overview: We are seeking a talented GNC Programmer to work on semiconductor materials used in the electronics, aeronautics, and medical sectors. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing guidance, navigation, and control systems to ensure the optimal performance of our materials. You will collaborate with engineers and researchers to design, test, and optimize GNC algorithms, ensuring the integration and reliability of materials across a variety of industries.
Responsibilities:
- Applies expert level knowledge of Programmer/Designer principles and practices in a specific technical area.
- Produces expert-level programs or CAD models for Manufacturing, Engineering, and R&D operations per established procedures. Completes prove-outs effectively.
- Leads the development of program and design methods and creates related procedures.
- Applies problem solving methods to support investigations.
- Supports and leads continuous improvement initiatives.
- Leads projects as assigned by Programmer/Designer manager.
- Helps onboard Programmer/Designer I and II personnel.
- Understands and adheres to all safety requirements. Communicates identified risks to leadership and assists in resolution.
- Completes all 5S (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, and Sustain) standards to maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work environment.
- Maintains regular and reliable attendance.
- Contributes to culture through alignment with company values and code of conduct. Maintains a positive attitude, displays enthusiasm for assigned tasks, and communicates effectively and professionally with team members.
- Other related duties.
Qualifications:
- Advanced knowledge of Siemens NX or equivalent CAD/CAM software required.
- Advanced knowledge of EIA and macro-B programming.
- Advanced knowledge of machining and tooling process development.
- Minimum 5 years machining experience.
- Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning Tolerances (GD&T) required.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift 40 pounds on a regular basis.
- Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time.
- Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) as defined by process.
