Job Details
The Application Developer is responsible for helping customers with the setup, customization, and enhancement of enterprise planning and scheduling solutions. This role involves analyzing business processes, creating technical specifications, configuring data modules, and training users. The developer collaborates with internal teams and clients throughout the project lifecycle to ensure successful software deployment.
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate customer requirements for planning and scheduling, gathering standard business processes from users and operations.
Create technical specifications for system configuration and data integration.
Configure data modules and continually adjust solver settings to optimize system performance.
Implement, customize, and deploy enterprise planning solutions.
Provide maintenance, upgrades, and support for current implementations.
Train customer key users on planning and scheduling modules.
Collaborate on multiple projects throughout the project lifecycle.
Travel to customer sites to conduct fit/gap analyses, execute testing, and provide training and Go-Live support.
Minimum Education & Experience Requirements:
Bachelor s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, Physics, Mathematics, Software Development/Engineering, or a related technical field.
Experience with relational database structures.
Experience in the steel or manufacturing industry is preferred but not required.
Special Requirements:
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally for projects and meetings.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Strong understanding of relational database concepts and structures.
Technical proficiency in configuring and maintaining enterprise software solutions.
Ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
