Job Summary:
The Security Engineer is responsible for leading the delivery of key security products within the Security Operations group. This role involves defining security requirements, coordinating with project managers, and acting as a subject matter expert to ensure seamless implementation and integration of security solutions. The Security Engineer will play a critical role in securing the organization s infrastructure, enhancing operational security, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the delivery of multiple security products under the Security Operations group.
Define, document, and establish security requirements and use cases for various security products.
Collaborate with project managers to outline key tasks and refine delivery plans.
Act as a technical SME to resolve conflicts related to security requirements, IT impact, and end-user experience.
Assist in implementing relevant security policy changes.
Participate in acceptance testing and production deployment of security solutions.
Provide documentation and support for operational and business handover prior to go-live.
Minimum Education & Experience Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (preferred).
Minimum of 5 years of experience in security engineering, cybersecurity, or a related field.
Experience with security products such as SIEM, vulnerability management, email security, PKI management, and application listing.
Special Requirements:
Industry-recognized technical certifications are desirable (e.g., CISSP, CCSP, CompTIA Security , GIAC Security Essentials).
Microsoft technical certifications are desirable (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect, Azure Security Engineer, 365 Security Administrator, MCSE).
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Strong experience with Azure and Office 365 platform capabilities.
Proficiency in Windows and Linux environments, with the ability to administer and debug changes.
Experience with virtual server and desktop environments such as VMware and Citrix.
Familiarity with security and privacy regulations impacting financial services (e.g., SOX, GDPR).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong problem-solving abilities and ability to work on multiple initiatives simultaneously.

Experience working within regulated industries or financial services.
Work Environment:
Hybrid work schedule with a combination of remote and on-site presence as needed.
