IMA North America - this company designs and manufactures tablet and capsule
coating and counting equipment and bottle filling machines as well as sterile environment liquid filling
machines.
This Machinist position will be responsible for set-up, and operation of CNC and general machine shop
equipment such as HAAS Machines, Bridgeport, mills, lathes, grinders, and drill presses to manufacture
customer-specific parts for the machines.
Key Responsibilities
Setup and operate CNC equipment to manufacture customer-specific metal parts.
Read and interpret blueprints, job specifications, and tolerances to ensure quality production.
Operate general machine shop equipment, including Bridgeport mills, lathes, grinders, and drill presses.
Assemble machined components, including manifolds and chutes.
Maintain production schedules to meet on-time delivery requirements.
Conduct quality inspections to ensure parts meet required tolerances and customer expectations.
Follow all safety protocols, ensuring proper machine operation and guarding at all times.
Document work order progress, including quantities produced and any deviations.
Work on various equipment to complete multiple phases of the production process.
Cross-train in machining and part assembly within the Change Parts department.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
