Scientist - III

Job Description:

The scientist will be responsible to run in vitro primary cell culture in 96-well plate format, perform serial dilutions of drug molecules, perform ELISA for cytokine analysis, and perform FACS flow cytometry analysis to look at cell populations changes and cell phenotype changes. Candidates with previous mRNA LNP production and characterization, and LNP antibody conjugation are preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Perform in vitro primary cell culture using human PBMCs, Cyno PBMCs, and mouse splenocytes.
• Conduct serial dilutions of drug molecules and apply treatments using a multichannel pipette.
• Perform Live/Dead and antibody staining of cells.
• Conduct FACS flow cytometry using BD FACS Canto II, Fortessa, or LSR II and analyze data using FlowJo software.
• Perform ELISA for cytokine analysis and other immunoassays.
• (Preferred) Conduct mRNA LNP production and characterization.
• (Preferred) Perform LNP antibody conjugation.

Requirements:

• PhD in Immunology, Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, or a related field OR Master’s degree with 5-7 years of relevant experience.
• Strong expertise in primary cell culture, flow cytometry, and immunoassays.
• Experience with multicolor flow cytometry panel design and data analysis using FlowJo.
• (Preferred) Hands-on experience in mRNA LNP production and characterization.
• (Preferred) Experience with LNP antibody conjugation.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced research environment.

Preferred Skills & Competencies:

• Familiarity with immunology-based assays and drug screening methodologies.
• Experience working with multi-well plate formats (96-well plates).
• Attention to detail and excellent documentation skills.
