We are looking for a skilled Supervisor to prepare and oversee the preparation of delicious meals according to the menu. You will cook dishes that will delight our customers with their taste and timely delivery. An excellent supervisor must be able to provide training for cooks to deliver well-prepared meals. They must be deft in moving around the kitchen and apt in multi-tasking. Experience in supervising/managing staff is required.
Responsibilities
- Train and Supervise line cooks, prep cooks, and dishwashers
- Maintain high standard of cleanliness
- Oversee prep, production, and presentation of menu items
- Ensure all food and other items are stored properly
- Check quality of ingredients
- Prepare and enter regular food orders
- Schedule staff based on business demands
- Perform monthly inventory pricing and counting
- Will work toward Head Chef position
Skills
- Proven experience as cook and leader
- Ability to follow all sanitation procedures
- Ability to work with and direct a team
- Very good communication skills
- Excellent physical condition and stamina
- High school diploma or equivalent; Diploma from a culinary school preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
