What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounts Payable Representative position at CH Guenther & Son LLC?
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for processing all invoices for payments according to Company policies
- Scan, index, and route incoming invoices in the electronic document management system
- Key vendor invoices and perform 3-way match process
- Review payment proposals for accuracy
- Work with Purchasing and vendors to resolve invoice discrepancies
- Prepare checks
- Scan and file backup paperwork
- Perform vendor and payment research
- 1099 processing
- Assist/support employees with expense reports
- Audit expense reports monthly
- Meet all required time schedules and month-end deadlines
- Protect the organization’s value by keeping information confidential
- Other duties as assigned
- Minimum Job Requirements:
Education/Certifications:
- High school graduate
Experience:
- 1-3 years of full time accounts payable experience
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Must be detail-oriented
- Must have working knowledge of 3 way match principals
- Good communication skills
- Must be able to multitask
- Fast and accurate data entry skills
- Computer literate, SAP or similar large ERP experience required
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and take initiative
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- None
