What are the responsibilities and job description for the Culinary R&D Intern position at CH Guenther & Son LLC?
- Review existing digital assets (recipes and videos) to identify areas for improvement or removal.
- Develop recipe ideas for key product categories, including biscuits, gravy, cookies, and brownies.
- Create, test, and photograph recipes across these categories for marketing purposes.
- Collaborate with the R&D team to ensure recipe quality and alignment with business goals.
Education:
- Junior or Senior pursuing a degree in Culinary Arts, Food Science, or a related field.
Experience, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Cooking and baking experience.
- Strong skills in recipe writing, testing, and photography.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Working Conditions and Physical Effort:
- Work involves light exposure to unusual elements, such as dirt, dust, fumes, extreme temperatures, humidity, and/or noise.
- Moderate physical effort required, such as standing, sitting, and walking in and around the kitchen and office; the ability to lift up to 25 pounds; reaching, climbing, and kneeling as needed; utilizing fine dexterity, the ability to see, hear, and communicate with associates and others by using professional etiquette.
- Personal protective equipment, as defined by C.H. Guenther and Son, will be provided.
