Automotive Service Advisor

Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Service Advisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will serve as the primary point of contact for customers, providing exceptional service and support throughout their automotive service experience. This role requires strong communication and organizational skills. The advisor we are looking for must be able to work efficiently, be a team player, and communicate with both customers, technicians, advisors, and management.

Responsibilities
- Greet customers and assess their automotive service needs.
- Provide detailed explanations of services and repairs required, including brake repair, diesel engine repair, and general automotive diagnostics.
- Prepare service estimates and manage customer expectations regarding timelines and costs.
- Utilize service writing skills to document customer interactions and service recommendations accurately.
- Educate customers on additional services based on needs, while maintaining a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with mechanics and technicians to ensure clear communication regarding service requirements.
- Manage follow-ups with customers regarding their vehicle status and any additional recommendations.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all customer interactions are handled professionally

Requirements
- Previous experience in an automotive service department or independent repair facility is a preferred but not a requirement
- Must possess a strong knowledge of automotive systems, including mechanical principles, auto body repair, and automotive diagnostics.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical information clearly to customers.
- Proven sales skills with the ability to effectively sell services and repairs while prioritizing customer needs.
- Familiarity with service writing software and/or tools is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A positive attitude and commitment to providing outstanding customer service.

Pay: $37,000.00 - $42,000.00 per year
