Financial Specialist/Sr Financial Specialist

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform highly specialized and varied financial and administrative duties through application of specialized knowledge, principles, and techniques without direction.
- Develop advanced concepts and methods to solve unique and specialized fiscal problems.
- Work with project and company functions, policies, and procedures to ensure effective financial management.
- Develop and implement special projects and resources, write procedures and guidelines, and mentor others.
- Interface with individuals or groups from inside and outside of the organization, senior management, as well as high-ranking officials from outside the organization.
Requirements:
- Grade 32: BA/BS in Accounting or Business Administration or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
- Minimum of ten (10) years of related experience.
- Specialized knowledge of advanced financial concepts and methods.
- Extensive knowledge of project and company functions, policies, and procedures, administrative practices, project history, and microcomputer financial applications.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Masters degree and/or CPA.
- Government specific experience to ensure familiarity with relevant regulations and practices.
