Position Overview

• Title: Release Manager
• Location: St. Louis, MO (Hybrid – 3 days onsite from Day 1)
• Experience: 15 Years (10 years in IT and 6 years as a Release Manager)

Mandatory Skills

1. Release Management:

   • Proven experience with release management tools and practices.
   • Expertise in coordinating releases using Agile methodologies (SAFe, Scrum, Kanban).

2. Technical Proficiency:

   • Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, TDD, BDD, and automated testing frameworks.
   • Skilled in managing code merges, deployment processes, and branch dependencies.

3. Tools & Techniques:

   • Proficient in JIRA, Confluence, and other Agile tools.
   • Well-versed in Agile techniques like burn-down charts, retrospective formats, and handling bugs.

4. Soft Skills:

   • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills to manage cross-team dependencies and stakeholder coordination effectively.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee release cycles, including planning, tracking, and reporting.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery.
• Monitor and improve processes for higher efficiency and reduced risks.
• Communicate release plans, progress, and changes to stakeholders.
• Maintain and align release schedules across teams and external stakeholders.
