Service Advisor

Chacon Autos is a reputable and well established, Texas-based business that has been around for over 65 years. We sell pre-owned vehicles to customers looking for affordable, high-quality, low-mileage cars, trucks and SUVs - many of which are still under a factory warranty. We offer flexible credit terms for people with good credit, bad credit or no credit. We are the finance company.

Job duties include:

• Assist customers with service inquiries or issues.
• Maintain an organized appointment calendar and log organized.
• Daily follow up of any open service tickets.
• Understand our customer retention strategy.
• Communicate with repairing shops on a continuous basis to ensure work progress and estimated times of completion.
• Communicate with customer on a continuous basis to update them on status of their repairs.
• No up-selling.
• No selling.
• No bonus or commission.

Requirements:

• Problem solving abilities.
• Organization skills.
• Dependable.
• Self-motivated.
• Valid driver's license.
• Able to explain to customer any repairs performed to vehicles.
• Knowledge of mechanical repairs.
• Knowledge of body work repairs.
• Ability to operate a motor vehicle.
• May have to work outdoors and in possible inclement weather conditions as well as walking and standing to conduct physical inspection of damaged cars or customer cars.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $32.00 - $34.00 per hour

Experience:

• Automotive diagnostics: 2 years (Required)
• Auto body repair: 2 years (Preferred)
