**Job Summary**
The Branch Delivery Logistics Manager oversees the transportation of products, goods, and materials from and between distribution facilities, customers, and vendors. This role requires proficiency in all Chadwell Supply delivery routes associated with the assigned distribution branch.
The Branch Delivery Logistics Manager may be required to fill in for a Delivery Driver on an as-needed basis and is responsible for leading, planning, coordinating, and managing all details and duties of the Delivery Drivers associated with the assigned distribution branch.
**Responsibilities**
- Be proficient in all Chadwell Supply delivery routes associated with the assigned distribution branch.
- Fulfill the requirements of a Delivery Driver as needed.
- Supervise and coordinate the performance of deliveries, vendor pick-ups, and other delivery driver duties as assigned by Management.
- Monitor, receive, maintain, and submit daily customer delivery receipts, relay specific customer issues or requests to management via delivery documents, and ensure that all delivery drivers under supervision comply with required delivery procedures and documentation.
- Maintain and record accurate daily records of miles driven, number of delivery stops, and unusual occurrences, ensuring compliance with mileage and delivery-related reports.
- Receive and review all fuel receipts, invoices, and reports, ensuring compliance with required fuel-related documentation.
- Ensure that all delivery drivers under supervision protect funds and delivery documentation from damage, loss, or destruction.
- Train and ensure that all delivery drivers under supervision load and unload goods according to operating procedures and assist customers with product placement according to policy.
- Review and correct delivery driver employee time reports, monitor and control delivery driver overtime, schedule, review, and coordinate delivery driver vacation requests and time off to ensure customer delivery coverage.
- Monitor delivery driver GPS tracking software and reports to maximize delivery driver routes.
**Requirements**
- Be at least 21 years old.
- Have previous employee supervision experience and a minimum of 3 years of experience in a warehouse/delivery working environment.
- Hold a High School Diploma or GED.
- Above-average computer literacy and experience are required for this position.
- Ability to learn and adapt to changes in work processes and train all employees on changes as they occur.
- Able to meet travel requirements for training.
