This is a part-time independent contractor services position with no permanent status granted. Payment will be through a contract with Accounts Payable. Temporary assignments may expire prior to the ending date. Responsibilities
The role involves delivering comprehensive instruction in an Industrial Electrical Training Program. Key responsibilities include :
- Teaching the fundamentals of industrial electrical maintenance, ensuring trainees develop essential skills and knowledge.
- Creating a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment that promotes effective learning and student participation.
- Delivering specialized instruction in any of the following areas : industrial electrical systems, electronics, process control, pneumatics, hydraulics, motors and motor control, blueprint reading, troubleshooting, and the use of electrical testing and measurement equipment.
- Providing training relevant to the advanced manufacturing and distribution sectors and preparing students for real-world applications in these industries.
- Developing and maintaining a program that meets the needs of new entrants to the field and helps current practitioners enhance their expertise.
- Staying up-to-date with advancements and trends in the industry to ensure instructional content remains current and relevant.
