Job Title: Assistant Manager

Pay Rate: $25 - $26 per hour

Location: Santa Monica, CA

Reports to: Store Manager

Supervise: Shift Lead / Baristas

This exciting opportunity is to provide leadership at our flagship location in the United States opening in Santa Monica, CA at one of the most popular premier shopping malls.

Manager Responsibilities:

• People Management
• Ensure the team is able to deliver high-quality and excellent customer service
• Ensure the team is able to deliver consistent product quality
• Make sure all store level operation tools are used and followed to operational standards
• Support the training and management of new Tea Barista Trainees in store
• Coach and correct Shift Leads & Baristas by conducting On-Job-Training (OJT)
• Plan store schedule, to assign team member to specific shifts and duties
• Supervise and ensure upselling/suggestive selling is practiced at all times and ensure each order is served to standard
• Handle customer feedback properly and coach team members on creating solutions and remedies
• Responsible for store cash handling matters based on rules and regulations set forth by company
• Stores Sales Performance
• Support the creation and management of sales performance goals
• Assist in marketing & promotional activities
• Inventory Management
• Ensure store inventory is arranged and managed properly
• Forecast Inventory usage and delivery

Experience You Will Need:

• Barista experience: 2 years (preferred)
• Supervision experience: 1 years (preferred)
• Food Safety Certification Needed (Company can assist)
• Ability to read and interpret instructional documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals
• Ability to work a flexible schedule with retail hours, including day, evening, weekends, and/or holidays
  
  

Essential Physical Requirements:

• Position requires prolonged periods of standing/walking around store or department
• May involve reaching, crouching, kneeling and stooping
• Frequent use of computers and other technology, necessary to perform job functions, including handheld equipment, cash register and ability to process register transactions
• Frequently lift/move up to 25lbs
