Job Title: Store Manager

Salary Range: $75,000 to $85,000 per year

Location: Santa Monica, CA

Reports to: Corporate Operations

Supervise: Assistant Store Manager/ Shift Lead/ Baristas

This position is to manage our very first flagship store location in the United States opening in Santa Monica, CA at one of the most popular premier shopping malls.

What you will do:

This is an exciting opportunity to

• People Management
• Ensure the team is able to deliver high-quality and excellent customer service
• Ensure the team is able to deliver consistent product quality
• Make sure all store level operation tools are used and followed to operational standards
• Train and manage training progress of new Tea Barista Trainee in store
• Coach and Shift Leads & Baristas by conducting On-Job-Training (OJT)
• Plan store schedule, to assign team members to specific shifts and duties. Monitor staff’s attendance and punctuality
• Manage all staff issues including staff discipline and performance reviews
• Supervise and ensure upselling/suggestive selling is practiced at all times and ensure each order is served to standard
• Handle customer feedback properly and coach team members on creating solutions and remedies
• Responsible for store cash handling matters based on rules and regulations set forth by company
• Stores Sales Performance
• Set and manage sales performance goals
• Assist in marketing & promotional activities
• Inventory Management
• Ensure store inventory is arranged and managed properly
• Forecast Inventory usage and delivery
• Order necessary inventory when supplies are low
• Work and manage all vendor relationships

• Have prior Management and Barista experience
• Be willing to learn other responsibilities and ad-hoc assignments

Experience You Will Need:

• Barista experience: 2 years (preferred)
• Supervision experience: 2 years (preferred)
• Food Safety Certification Needed (Company can assist)
• Ability to read and interpret instructional documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals
• Ability to work a flexible schedule with retail hours, including day, evening, weekends, and/or holidays
  
  

Essential Physical Requirements:

• Position requires prolonged periods of standing/walking around store or department
• May involve reaching, crouching, kneeling and stooping
• Frequent use of computers and other technology, necessary to perform job functions, including handheld equipment, cash register and ability to process register transactions
• Frequently lift/move up to 25lbs
