JOB SUMMARY:
Oversees all activities related to the Division’s warehousing operations, ensuring that objectives for efficiency, cost-effectiveness, quality, and productivity are consistently met or surpassed.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Plans, implements, and monitors daily warehousing operations for the Division, analyzing performance data, assessing staffing requirements, and ensuring compliance with operational standards to achieve business goals. (25%)
- Manages a team of employees, participating in the recruitment process, assigning tasks, providing training and development, evaluating performance, and fostering an engaged, high-performing team to meet organizational goals for diversity, career progression, productivity, and employee engagement. (25%)
- Conducts periodic audits of shipping and receiving procedures, implementing improvements to enhance inventory availability, storage, sanitation, and security. (20%)
- Develops, audits, and manages the department’s budget, ensuring that operational expenses remain within financial plans. Oversees the procurement, leasing, and maintenance of material handling equipment to meet safety, longevity, and efficiency goals. (10%)
- Ensures compliance with customer, governmental, and company policies and prepares and distributes necessary reports and quality analysis summaries. (10%)
- Communicates with Division leadership and staff, providing relevant reports and insights to support decision-making. Leads special project analyses as required. (10%)
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
LEADERSHIP/MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITY:
Supervises approximately 50-70 employees through subordinate managers, including hourly staff. Oversees projects with significant financial and strategic impact and may manage external vendor relationships.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Certification:
Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field from an accredited institution or equivalent experience.
Experience:
At least 7 years of progressively responsible experience in warehousing operations, including multi-temperature environments, inventory control, and shipping, with 3-5 years in a supervisory role.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Expert Knowledge in food storage and shipping, computerized inventory control systems, warehouse racking systems, management and supervisory practices, project management, and relevant safety and regulatory policies (OSHA, AIB, HACCP, DOT).
- Intermediate Knowledge in forklift and pallet jack operations, budget management, and PC software (word processing, spreadsheets), and AS400 systems.
- Basic Knowledge of the AS400 computer system.
