What You’ll Do
This will be a 1st Shift / 5:30AM-1:30PM M-F position located at our Plant 12 Office in Spartanburg, SC.

Who We Want
Performs janitorial duties necessary to maintain and protect the assigned areas of responsibility. Ensures that external and internal appearance of a building is clean, organized and meets Company standards.
What You’ll Do
- Follows standard work and daily checklists to ensure that all assigned tasks are performed to standard and meet expectations.
- Clean and make minor repair to building fixtures including lights, locks, windows, doors, screens, walls, floors, gutters, and drains.
- Clean, sanitize, and stock restrooms/locker rooms using established practices and procedures.
- Clean, dust, and wipe furniture, sweep, mop, or vacuum floors.
- Empty/clean wastebaskets and trash containers.
- Use ladders when required in work assignments.
- Remove outside debris and maintain grounds as assigned.
- Maintain the landscape around the buildings and fence lines.
- Clean all windows indoors.
- Clean and sanitize lunchrooms floors, furniture, and counters.
- Other duties assigned by the Management.

What You Need To Have
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Associates Degree
- Minimum 2 years of professional janitorial experience.
- Has high standards of performance for self.
- Takes responsibility for actions, results, and mistakes.
- Is thorough, accurate, and reliable when performing and completing job tasks; demonstrates honesty and integrity in all aspects of work.

- Has necessary experience, skills, and knowledge to perform all aspects of job; rotates through all job responsibilities.

- Must be able to understand and follow written and verbal workplace instructions
- Must be able to work up to 12 hours per day including Saturday and Sunday
- Proven experience as janitor or in a similar role.
- Knowledge of use and maintenance of industrial cleaning equipment and appliances.
- Familiarity with handyman and basic landscaping practices.
- Attention to detail and conscientiousness.
- Respectful and able to take direction.
- Able to work with little supervision
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Able to stand for 8-10 hours a day and be physically capable of performing the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.
