What are the responsibilities and job description for the Music Teacher position at Challenger School Human Resources?
Challenger School is seeking a talented individual to join our team in Utah as a music teacher. Music is a vital part of Challenger’s proven curriculum. As a music teacher at Challenger, you will be responsible for teaching children music concepts such as rhythm, singing, recognition, interpretation, movement, and dance. You will have the opportunity to work with multiple grade levels and will also plan and direct the music for the annual Christmas Sing and Spring Program events.
Responsibilities
Thoroughly learn and deliver Challenger’s curriculum, teaching methods, and philosophy
Maintain a safe and productive classroom environment
Assist teachers in multiple classes with music curriculum and concepts
Produce student musical programs twice yearly
Work patiently with students, parents, and coworkers
Qualifications
2 years of college education or equivalent classic music training and experience in music, voice, and/or piano
Proficiency in piano accompaniment and voice delivery techniques
Ability to pass a background check
Completion of pre-employment assessments
