Challenger Sports is looking for reliable, energetic and enthusiastic soccer coaches to fill roles in our Soccer Academy and Skill Clinics programs.
What is Skill Clinics? A soccer skills program is a structured training initiative designed to improve players' technical abilities, such as dribbling, passing, shooting, and ball control. It focuses on skill development through drills, small-sided games, and tactical exercises. Programs cater to various age groups and skill levels, from beginners to advanced players.
Information:
- Classes run Monday through Sunday lasting 60 minutes each session, and run back to back. Coaches will be provided with uniform, equipment, training and a curriculum to follow.
- Flexible part-time working hours and the opportunity to work in a rewarding and fun environment. Classes typically take place at parks & recs and sports complexes.
What is Soccer Academy? Professional year-round coaching.
- You will mentor and provide support to the organization and coaching staff.
- Deliver in-house coaches clinics and coach education.
- Be a positive role model and offer clear and continual feedback to players, parents and coaches.
- Act as an ambassador of Challenger Sports.
Compensation: Coaches will be paid weekly depending upon the number of hours worked. Your weekly schedule will remain consistent over the course of the season (6-10 weeks).
Requirements:
- Criminal Background Check or willingness to begin application
- Must be aware of current first aid procedures
- It is essential you are personable, with a highly energetic and enthusiastic attitude
- Playing/coaching experience is preferred
- You must have valid work authorization
