SEASONAL WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE

Position Overview

Challenger Sports is looking for candidates who are responsible for picking and packing orders with efficient time and accuracy... We are looking for individuals that are self motivated with a positive, energetic and comprehensive mindset.

We are interested in candidates that have an excellent work ethic, who are dependable and are eager to keep busy even when orders are slow. It is a straightforward job that can be easily mastered in a casual work environment!

Challenger Sports is a soccer camp company that runs summer camps for Clubs, Parks & Recs, and YMCA's. It is a magical moment for a child to anticipate and receive their camp jersey and soccer ball on their first day of camp. Essential Functions

• Picking the correct equipment from order - soccer balls, jerseys, certificates.
• 30-40 hour work weeks
• Ensuring merchandise is securely packed and appropriately labeled for shipping
• Keeping the area clean and organized by sweeping, taking out trash, cutting down boxes
• Remain safety-conscious

• A good eye for detail
• Able to learn product SKUs quickly and be able to identify products by name and SKU
• Good memory recall on order numbers and accounts
• Is an excellent communicator with co-workers - there are two full time employees you'll work alongside with

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• No experience required, on-the-job training provided!
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.A.
  
  
  

PHYSICAL ABILITIES

• Stand on feet for 8 hours
• Previous reach truck experience isn't necessary, but considered a plus!
• Dexterity and Arm-Hand Steadiness – ability to quickly move hands, arms, fingers to grasp, manipulate or assemble and the ability to keep hand and arm steady.
• Frequent stooping, bending, pulling and pushing.
• Ability to occasionally lift, carry and/or drag up to forty pounds (40) pounds if necessary.

PAY RATE

• $16 per hour (may be negotiable based on experience)
