Job Description:
As a Front Desk Coordinator, you will be the first point of contact for our patients, ensuring they have a positive experience from the moment they walk in. You will play a key role in managing patient schedules, handling administrative tasks, and maintaining the smooth operation of our front office. The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented multitasker who enjoys working with people and providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and check in patients, ensuring a warm and welcoming environment
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage patient inquiries
- Verify insurance information, process insurance claims, and update patient records
- Handle patient billing, process payments, and respond to emails.
- Coordinate with the dental team to ensure smooth patient flow and efficient office operations
- Manage and confirm patient appointments, follow up on cancellations, and reschedule as needed
- Ensure the front office area is clean, organized, and well-stocked
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a dental office or healthcare setting is preferred but not required
- Previous dental assisting experience is a plus
- Strong communication skills and a professional, friendly demeanor
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient with office software (e.g., Microsoft Office, dental practice management software)
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s degree or higher preferred)
- Knowledge of dental terminology and insurance processes is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
