Please Note
- Candidates must come from a corporate background (no secondary or higher education experience).
- A portfolio must be presented at time of first call our recruiter showcasing engaging and instructionally effective eLearning examples, via a link or attachment.
- Design and develop engaging eLearning content, with a focus on clinical topics such as introductory EKGs, ensuring complex information is presented in an engaging and accessible manner.
- Create and structure onboarding learning journeys, organizing content from simple to complex for effective learning progression.
- Develop eLearning modules using Articulate Rise and Storyline, ensuring high-quality instructional materials that align with adult learning principles.
- Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to gather information and translate technical content into learner-friendly materials.
- Review and refine existing content to improve instructional design quality and learner engagement, making potentially "boring" content more engaging.
- Manage tasks efficiently within the project timeline, ensuring alignment with project deliverables and deadlines.
- Develop and implement instructional strategies that support knowledge retention and skill application in clinical environments.
- Organize and maintain content libraries, templates, and version control to streamline future development efforts.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to align learning solutions with business needs and provide updates on project progress.
- Perform additional instructional design duties as required to support the broader L&D team objectives.
- Must be able to provide portfolio of work at first interview via attachment or web-link.
- At least 2 years of recent experience in instructional design in a corporate setting (not secondary, higher, or college education), particularly in developing eLearning solutions for clinical or technical content.
- Proven expertise with Articulate Rise and Storyline, with a strong portfolio showcasing past projects.
- Experience with additional eLearning tools such as Vyond (preferred) and Camtasia (preferred) for multimedia content creation.
- Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design best practices.
- Ability to structure content logically from simple to complex, ensuring an effective learning experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts in an easy-to-understand manner.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and experience in content deployment and management.
- Comfortable working remotely and collaborating with a distributed team.
- Self-motivated and proactive in a fast-paced environment, with the flexibility to adapt to evolving project needs.
- Experience working within healthcare, clinical, or similar regulated environments (preferred but not required).
