Title: Senior Compensation Analyst

Location: Remote (Local to Chicagoland/Deerfield is ideal))

Duration & Type: 8-12 month Contract with likely extensions

Compensation & Benefits: Competitive W2 Hourly Rate ($48-$49), 401k, Access to Healthcare and Dental Insurance Plan of Choice. (Benefit Plans can be requested at time of submission to client)

Summary

Chamberlain Advisors is currently seeking a Senior Compensation Analyst for an exciting opportunity within a fast-paced and continuously evolving team. This role is responsible for providing broad-based compensation support including complex job evaluations, market pricing, salary surveys, benchmark job identification, system administration, job description development, and analytical reporting. You will work closely with two directors from Pharmacy and other business units on a daily basis. This position is fully remote for the contract duration. However, if converted to a full-time role, onsite presence in Deerfield, IL may be required. What You’ll Be Accountable For

  • Conduct complex job evaluations and market pricing using internal benchmarks and external survey data
  • Analyze and maintain compensation databases, job documentation, and HR systems
  • Support the development and execution of total rewards strategies, salary structures, and incentive programs
  • Create and deliver reports on compensation trends, survey results, and pay equity analyses
  • Assist in maintaining internal equity and external competitiveness through effective benchmarking and analysis
  • Coordinate and support company-wide compensation activities, including annual merit cycles and bonus planning
  • Partner with HR, Finance, and business leaders to ensure compensation recommendations align with company goals
  • Ensure compliance with FLSA, EEOC, OFCCP, and other regulatory requirements
  • Present findings and insights through data visualization and presentation tools, supporting informed decision-making
  • Handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion

What Qualifications You Need

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field and at least 1 year of compensation experience; OR high school diploma/GED and at least 4 years of compensation experience
  • Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables, functions, and large data set manipulation
  • Experience working with HRIS platforms and compensation systems
  • Familiarity with job evaluation techniques, salary survey methodologies, and total rewards principles
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and experience working cross-functionally
  • Knowledge of FLSA and regulatory standards as they pertain to job classification and compensation
  • Intermediate level skill in Microsoft Word (for example: inserting headers, page breaks, page numbers and tables and/or adjusting table columns).
  • Advanced level skill in Microsoft Excel (for example: using AVERAGE function, merging and centering cells, printing centered page and/or creating a pivot table).
  • Intermediate level skill in Microsoft PowerPoint (for example: applying a theme, formatting character spacing, inserting a picture, changing slide layout and theme colors, adding transitions, customizing slide numbers, changing chart style and/or formatting font)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field and at least 2 years of compensation experience
  • Broader HR experience (e.g., generalist, business partner, benefits, recruiting, talent development, HRIS)
  • Experience with incentive compensation plans (design, deployment, and measurement)
  • Familiarity with compensation systems and HRIS analytics as they relate to compensation functions
  • Understanding of accounting/financial principles and collaboration with Finance teams
  • Knowledge of EEOC, OFCCP, and other compliance requirements
  • Experience applying Fair Labor Standards Act principles to the job evaluation process
