Overview

The concrete finisher effectively pours, places, and finishes concrete on a variety of surfaces with assistance from concrete laborers.

Responsibilities

Sets the forms to hold concrete in place.

Cleans and inspects surfaces for pouring issues.

Directs the casting of the concrete.

Pours, smooths, and levels concrete using a rake, trowel, float, and screed, including the use of handheld and/or power tools.

Monitors the effects of the weather on the curing process.

Applies sealing and hardening components.

Operates power vibrator to ensure the concrete is compacted.

Adheres to the company’s safety policies to create a safe work environment.

Perform other duties as assigned.
