We provide 24/7/365 care for children up to age 12, and this role involves occasional weekend days or overnight shifts during the week. Pay: Starts at $11/hour with a High School diploma and no prior child care experience; $13/hour with a CDA; $14.50 with an Associate's Degree. Rates increase with education and experience.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to pass a fingerprint background screening.
- Childcare experience required.
- Passion for working with children and families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversees the care of children when on duty, overnight or weekends.
- Supervises assigned group of children indoors and outdoors.
- Maintains an orderly classroom.
- Maintains a positive and cooperative relationship with all staff, parents, and volunteers of the agency.
- Performs other duties assigned by the Lead Teacher and the Executive Director or Associate Directors of Extend Child Care.
