We are looking for a dedicated individual with a passion for children’s education and development to work in our classroom of 2 year old children. As a teacher, you’ll play a key role in fostering the intellectual, emotional, and social growth of children ages 6 weeks to 5 years. Position Details:
- Location: Children Academy of Education and Learning, 1800 S. Greenwood Avenue, Chattanooga, TN 37404.
- Pay: Starts at $13/hour with a High School diploma and no prior child care experience; $15/hour with a CDA. Rates increase with education and experience, up to $19.45/hour.
What We’re Looking For:
- At least 18 years of age.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Able to pass a fingerprint background check.
- Experience in Early Childhood Education is a plus, but we encourage anyone with a passion for working with children to apply!
Responsibilities:
- Stay engaged and supervise children in your care, ensuring safety and promoting active participation in all activities.
- Plan and lead activities that support children’s development in social, emotional, physical, and cognitive areas.
- Maintain an organized and supportive classroom environment.
- Build positive relationships with staff, parents, and volunteers.
- Be attentive to the health and well-being of children, responding to their needs as appropriate.
