Chaminade High School seeks a full-time Science (Biology and / or Chemistry) Teacher for the 2025-2026 school year.
Science Teacher
The Science Department emphasizes student-centered learning by incorporating differentiated instruction and whiteboard thinking activities. These approaches encourage students to work collaboratively in groups, solve problems, and effectively communicate their reasoning.
In addition to instructional responsibilities, Chaminade faculty coordinate the extensive after-school program of extra-curricular and co-curricular clubs and activities.
Preferred
- NYS Certification Biology 7-12 and / or Chemistry 7-12
- Relevant Master's Degree (completed or in the process)
- Minimum 3-5 years of teaching experience
- Ability to teach all levels of high-school biology and chemistry
