What are the responsibilities and job description for the PM Lead Line Cook position at Champagne Tiger?
Champagne Tiger is a celebratory French American diner located on East Colfax. Hosting weekly entertainment and menu specials merging the best of American Diner and French Bistro classics in a high energy atmosphere and joyous atmosphere. Weekly specials include: Pasta & Piano Night, Fried Chicken & Song and Denver's Most Luxurious Drag Show.
The PM Lead Line Cook will work in tandem with Chef Josh Hood, Prep Chef, Pastry Chef and AM Lead Line Cook to set the team up for success daily while working a full station each night. With a busy summer season ahead and constant events and private functions on the patio the kitchen management team will be in constant communication. They are expected to support the kitchen team in day to day operations and assist with duties including training standards, mis en place, recipe knowledge and prep.
Experienced line cooks only. To apply you must be a dedicated and passionate leader.
Champagne Tiger PM Lead Line Cook Expectations:
-Available to work 5 PM Shifts a week
-Knowledge of each station and ability to run each station
-Ability to run expo and help the line as needed
-Assist in training and teaching the team in accordance to Chef de Cuisine and company standards
-3 line checks daily
-Mise en place checks daily - resulting in a prep list for the Prep Cook
-Assist with inventory, ordering, and Craftable management
-Manage Family Meal
-Weekly meetings with Chef Josh. Prep Chef, Pastry Chef and AM Lead Line Cook.
-Maintain a clean and orderly workspace
-Help to maintain a positive workspace conducive to growth
Salary : $21 - $23
