What are the responsibilities and job description for the Instructional Designer position at Champaign County Regional Planning Commission?
Here’s your chance to develop engaging learning materials for adult students! This temporary Instructional Design position will allow you to work with instructors to create online and blended-learning classes that use engaging and interactive learning tools in a customized LMS and an in-person learning environment. You will also provide support to our E-learning Developer through shared projects.
Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or closely related field, along with visual/graphic design experience, experience in creating and/or editing recorded video and audio content, and two years of professional experience in instructional design required.
Preferred candidates will have three or more years of professional experience in ID, have two years of work experience in a Learning Management System, such as Canvas, experience with markup and programming tools, and one or more years of work experience as a teacher, preferably of adult learners.
Status: Temporary
Schedule: Up to 37.5 hours per week, flexible. Must be available to work in consultation with the E-Learning Developer 8-noon, M-F. Estimated job duration: 3-6 months.
Hourly Wage: $33-$38 (DOQ)
The selected candidate will start work as soon as possible.
