The Champaign County Children’s Advocacy Center is accepting applications for a Forensic Interviewer, available immediately. The successful applicant for this position will assist and support child victims and their families during and after investigations into allegations of abuse by conducting forensic interviews of children during the investigative process, connecting child victims and their families to community support services, working with law enforcement, social services, schools, and health and welfare agencies, and educating community agencies, schools and organizations on child abuse awareness and prevention. The successful applicant must be interested and able to work with individuals during high stress and highly emotional cases, particularly crimes of violence and crimes involving child victims. The successful applicant must also be highly organized, proficient in the use of technology, and have strong communication skills.Until Filled
