What are the responsibilities and job description for the 8th Grade-9th Grade Transition Human Geography Teacher position at Champaign Unit 4 School District?

- Must have attended AVID Summer Institute within the last three years
- AVID Elective Teacher Training preferred
- This position will remain posted until the hiring process is complete; however, interviews may be conducted after April 17, 2025, so interested applicants should submit their materials ASAP to ensure consideration.
- This position is for the District’s College & Career Readiness Summer Transition Program, which will be located at Central High School.
- This program runs Monday, July 14, 2025 - Thursday, July 17, 2025.
- Student Contact Hours will take be from 8:30 a.m.-1:10 p.m.
- Staff will be expected to be on duty (an will be paid) from 7:45 a.m.-1:30 p.m.
- Initial required training (paid) will be Thursday, July 10, 2025 from 2:00 p.m.-3:00p.m.
- Teachers will also be paid for three (3) hours of prep time at the beginning of the session, and from 1:30 p.m.-3:30 p.m. for grading and finalizing the final day of the session (July 17, 2025)
- Teachers will be paid at the rate of $35.00/hour for actual hours worked.
