What are the responsibilities and job description for the Teacher Aide/SEL Program; up to 2 positions available (based upon student enrollment) position at Champaign Unit 4 School District?

- Valid Paraprofessional License
- Experience working with primary grade students preferred
- Skilled in providing academic and SEL support to students preferred
- This position will remain posted until the hiring process is complete; however, interviews may be conducted after April 10, 2025, so interested applicants should submit their materials ASAP to ensure consideration.
- This position is for the District’s Elementary Title I Summer School SEL Program, which will be located at Garden Hills Academy.
- This program runs Monday-Thursday from June 9, 2025 - July 3, 2025. There will be no student attendance on June 19, 2025.
- Student Contact Hours will be from 8:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.
- Staff will be expected to be on duty (and will be paid) from 7:45 a.m.-12:15 p.m.
- There will be a (paid) teacher PD and planning on Thursday, June 5, 2025 from 8:00 a.m.-10:00 a.m.
- Teacher Aides will be paid at their current hourly rate.
