Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Automotive Service Advisor to join our team. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for customers, providing exceptional service and support throughout their automotive repair experience. You will utilize your mechanical knowledge and customer service skills to assess customer needs, recommend appropriate services, and ensure a seamless service experience.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers promptly and professionally, assessing their automotive service needs.
- Provide detailed explanations of services, including oil changes, alignments, and other automotive repairs.
- Utilize upselling techniques to recommend additional services that enhance vehicle performance and safety.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, service requests, and payments.
- Collaborate with technicians to relay customer concerns and ensure timely completion of services.
- Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and address any further needs.
- Stay updated on automotive service trends and dealership practices to provide informed recommendations.
Experience
- Previous experience as an Automotive Service Advisor or in a similar role is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to automotive repair, including diesel engine repair and air brake systems is preferred.
- Familiarity with dealership operations is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks effectively.
- Experience in cash handling is essential.
