Service Shop Foreman – Franchise Automotive Dealership

The Service Shop Foreman is crucial in the Service department. This role drives the performance of the Service Department by creating an exceptional service experience.
This position interacts daily with, Service Advisors, Technicians, Parts Associates, Parts Managers, Service Managers.
Job Responsibilities
- Overseeing and working with Service Advisors and Technicians to achieve targeted performance.
- Ensure proper repair techniques are being used.
- Schedule training as necessary to properly repair and service vehicles.
- Stay up to date on product changes and new products.
- Ensure that all necessary shop equipment is in proper and safe working condition
- Engaging and motivating the team to achieve key goals, performance expectations
- Understand and comply with federal, state and local regulations that affect service department operations, such as hazardous waste disposal, OSHA right-to-know, etc.
- Analyzing processes to determine shortfalls and developing action plans to improve performance.
- Driving the business through a high-level of involvement in the day-to-day operations.
Education and/or Experience
High School or equivalent plus relevant education and experience.
