Champion Brands is currently looking for a team player to fill the position of Graphic Designer in our Sign Shop. The successful candidate will be responsible for the daily functions in the sign shop including, but not limited to physical preparation and finishing duties, creative design, software management, and printer functions and management.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Shop Functionality & Maintenance
1. Manage the VIP POS and Tagify print queue. Design and print quality materials in a timely manner.
2. Decipher and align sales wants/needs with brand priorities.
3. Assist technicians and Marketing Manager with equipment maintenance.
4. Track inventory and order accordingly.
5. Support all internal customers with a friendly and helpful attitude.
- Organization & Cost Management
1. Ensure full company utilization of VIP, Tagify, and Shopify systems for all requests.
2. Plan properly for large format print jobs. Prioritize requests and materials to maximize cost efficiencies.
3. Maintain a clean and organized environment.
- Digital
1. Assist Marketing Manager with content creation (photo, video, & design) for internal and external digital media.
2.Plan, design, post, and manage social medical channels
- Creativity
1. Design/layout format banners, posters, graphics etc.
2. Design/layout custom pieces including, but not limited to specialty cut outs, coreplast, vinyl, and internal requests.
3. Manage standards for Champion Brands regarding copyrights, brand requirements and cultural awareness.

Requirements
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Proficient knowledge of computer and how to use technology tools and resources.
- Reliable automobile transportation
Preferred
- 1-2 years of Graphic Design experience.
- Associates Degree in Graphic Design, Marketing or Communications.
- Customer service, retail, or service industry experience.
- Proficiency in Corel, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience in a print shop environment.
- Large Format printing experience.
