What are the responsibilities and job description for the Caregiver 12 Hour Shifts 1st and 3rd position at Champion Care?
We are looking for a compassionate and reliable Caregiver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing assistance to elderly individuals in their homes, including providing personal care, helping with daily activities, and providing companionship. The ideal candidate will have experience working with seniors and the disabled, as well as a strong understanding of safety protocols and emergency procedures. A commitment to providing excellent care is essential for this position.
Responsibilities:
- Hands-on bathing, assistance with tub or shower.
- Assistance with dressing, toileting, and ambulation.
- Catheter care, but not insertion.
- Meal preparation, and feeding.
- Hands-on assistance with activities of daily living and instrumental activities of daily living, when incidental to assistance with activities of daily living.
- Assistance managing the individual's home and handling personal affairs.
- Assistance with self-administration of medications
- Homemaker services such as cleaning, mail, and laundry.
- Respite services for the individual’s caregiver.
- Errands completed outside of the presence of the individual such as picking up prescriptions and groceries.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 24 – 36 per week
